Analysis results Providing timely, high-quality care during critical emergencies is one of the key factors that determines a patient’s chances of survival. For this reason, continuous professional education, the enhancement of practical skills and the implementation of international standards are integral components of a modern healthcare system.
From 15 to 18 July, a selected group of medical staff from the University Medical Center (UMC) successfully completed training and certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and European Paediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS) in accordance with the standards of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).
The four-day masterclass was delivered by international ERC instructors together with local instructors. Throughout the programme, participants studied the latest evidence-based approaches and algorithms for managing critical conditions in both adults and children, while strengthening their practical skills in advanced resuscitation.
Upon successful completion of the courses, participants were awarded internationally recognised ERC certificates. In addition, UMC instructors successfully completed the official ERC Instructor Course and achieved the status of certified international instructors of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC).
