During the visit, the delegation learned about the center’s activities and its 15-year history. Special mention was made of its long-standing collaboration with Czech specialists, particularly with Dr. Jan Pirk and his team who were at the forefront of developing heart transplantation in Kazakhstan.
Special attention was given to the UMC international-level simulation center, where modern approaches to medical training and the development of clinical skills are applied. The guests were shown the capabilities of the training infrastructure and its comprehensive equipment, which ensures education across key areas of modern medicine. As part of the visit, the innovative ALEM device was also presented, generating strong interest in terms of future cooperation.
The role of the center as a platform for training internationally qualified specialists and implementing advanced medical practices was particularly emphasized. The UMC Heart Center actively develops educational programs and collaborates with international partners, contributing to the improvement of healthcare.
